“So you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them; and you will dwell in the land in safety. Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill, and dwell there in safety” (Leviticus 25:18-19).
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). It’s a faith walk, but it is also a walk of priorities. Too many post-modern Christians seems to seek all these things first then hope the kingdom will be added to them. Is it really a faith-walk when you do all you can to make something happen then give God credit and glory? Have you ever forced things and timing God has not ordained, then blamed Him when it imploded?
In everything you must put the Lord first. You must be willing to accept, “No” answers and delays from Him. You must live for Him first and then you will see His glorious provision in ways you could never have imagined. If you are missing the adventure of living for Christ, might it be you are not seeking first His kingdom?
Lord, in everything I must put You first. Help me to know when I put things first and the kingdom second so I may do what is right and pleasing in Your sight. I want to live in the glorious adventure the kingdom.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20).
